3:00 PM Meet at Delta Ticket Counter

Fly to Las Vegas

Drive to Williams, Arizona

Sunset Crater National Monument (if time permits)

Visit the "commercial" South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park

Photo opportunities galore

I-Max Theatre a la Canyon Grande

Drive to Havasupai ("Have a soup pie") reservation edge

8 mile hike down into Canyon to the Supai village

Camp, swim below the waterfalls, coffee drinking and kicking back

Side hikes for the brave

Hike out

Meet mules at the top with gear

Drive to Nelson, Arizona

Check in to The Caverns Inn (it ain't fancy, but it's air conditioned!)

Shower and general stink erasure

Grand Canyon Caverns (if we ain't too pooped)

Dinner in Nelson or Peach Springs, depending on what we find

Heavy Z's and eyelid closure checks

Drive to Peach Springs

Bus ride down to the Colorado River on historic (1912) Diamond Creek Road

White water raft the Colorado River using Hualapai River Runners

Helicopter ride out

Evening meal a la bad forya

Another fitful night of sleep in a lumpy hotel bed.  Tsk.

An early start with stops for coffee-- drive to Flagstaff

Tour Walnut Canyon National Monument (Indian ruins close up!)

Meteor Crater Park (yep, it's a big hole, but it's cool)

Sunset Crater National Monument (if we couldn't make it on Monday)

Possible side trip to Mt. St. Helens, WA (weather permitting)

More probable trip to Starbuck's or Murray's House O Doughnuts
